Company History
Our Vision and Mission

1990
Two Singapore-born brothers, Arry and Darren Liu, saw an opportunity in developing and selling home electrical appliances. With the support of their family members, they established a company named Home Pro Pte Ltd in Singapore. They first started the company by opening a small outlet shop at Bugis Street which focused only on selling electrical cooking appliances such as electric fryers, rice cookers, steamers and microwave.

1995
The Liu brothers moved to a bigger retail shop which had a larger space for displaying other types of items and storing products. Electrical cleaning appliances and electrical lighting were first introduced in Singapore by Home Pro Pte Ltd which were in great demand by Singaporeans. Various items were introduced such as Vacuum Cleaners, Steam Cleaners, Washing Machines, LED Table Lamps and many more. Company size grew from 2 to 10 employees.
2005
2005 was an extraordinary year when the e-commence has just sprung up. The Liu brothers foresee the opportunity of e-commerce which will be getting popular in the next few decades. Therefore, they decided to set up an online store selling home appliances.

2009
After the online shop has been set up, Home Pro Pte Ltd expanded rapidly. The ease of information and increase in population have increased the demand for home appliances. This resulted in the Liu brothers having to rent a warehouse and setting up a business through ordering online and delivery.

2017
Arry Liu reported 380 employees in Singapore this year.
